Who is The Plumber’s Wife?
We're an upscale lifestyle and home decor shop, founded in 2008.
We often get asked how we got our name: The Plumber’s Wife. Before we had a store, Paula would help friends and family freshen up their spaces, all from the comfort of her home. Her husband, Leonard, owned a plumbing company where she would assist their clients with their finishing touches. Often times when clients would call looking to speak to Paula, they would ask to speak to “the plumber’s wife.”
When Paula and Len decided to open a storefront, they knew The Plumber’s Wife would be the perfect name. Located in Arthur, Ontario, we proudly offer interior decorating services and packages, regardless of your location or budget.
As entrepreneurs, Paula and Len understand the importance of supporting small businesses across Canada. We pride ourselves on the high-quality craftspeople we've sourced for our store, including over 20 local makers – adding a unique flare to our collection, in store and online!
Over the years, our store has evolved to reflect our community. Our exceptional team maintains that small-store feel, helping you pull together the perfect gift or look for your space. We’re also looking forward to offering workshops to help others revive old furniture. We’re ecstatic to help add a bit of flair to your life and help create the home you want!
Meet the Owners
PAULA & LEN
Paula is the “one to know” with a natural artistic ability and desire to make beautiful spaces. She's focuses on communication and listens to your needs, but also gives her opinion on the perfect product or solution.
Len is a huge supporter of the store, but he mostly works behind the scenes! During his time off, he’s an avid runner who especially loves hitting the trail and completing half marathons.
